Join South Alabama British Car Club for the 18th annual British Car Festival Saturday, October 25, 2008. Once again, Fairhope Beach Park is the site for the festival. As always, this is a popular choice show open to all British marques. All British-made vehicles -cars, trucks and motorcycles--are welcome. The entry fee is $25.00 per car; $15.00 for other cars entered by the same owner. The first 100 vehicles will receive commemorative dash plaques and a hospitality bag. For the last several years, the Club has designated a charity to receive a donation based on $5.00 per entered vehicle. Tentative Schedule of Events Friday, October 24--7:00 to 9:00PM. Welcome Party at historic Dahlgren Hall on the Fairhope Campus of Faulkner State Junior College. Enjoy homemade goodies and meet other British car enthusiasts. Saturday, October 25 9:00AM--Noon Registration and parking on the show field. Noon--2:00PM Popular choice balloting. 2:30PM Valve cover racing. Open entry -anything goes! 3:00PM Awards |
